MAGURA - APARTMENTS - DONOVALY

    We offer our guests year around accommodations within the DONOVALY ski center. Our condo apartments are well located and within 10 meters of center's main chairlift. Both units have fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and forests. DONOVALY is well known for its' night skiing, thus extending your time on the slopes. Our apartments provide a homey and pleasant environment to ensure our guests a most comfortable and memorable stay. For those nights where cooking is not an option, our guests have access to many superb restaurants offering delicious meals from original Slovakian cooking to international cuisine.

    The surrounding area provides great opportunities for year around tourists. It is a winter paradise for winter sport fans (artificial snow) and snowboarders are also welcomed. The valley offers over 30k of cross-country ski trails. Visitors from all over the world come yearly to attend the Dog Sled Championships. The Donovaly center provides a variety of activities to satisfy your free time: back-packing, mountain cycling, para-gliding, tracking, etc. Additionally, we recommend a visit to the nearby thermal spa in Besenova near Ruzomberok, which is opened year around for those wanting to sooth the body after a hard day on the slopes. Also for those wanting to explore Slovakian culture, may we recommend seeing a typical Slovak village protected by UNESCO in Vlkolinec. And, for those with shopping on their minds, a quick trip over the mountain to Banska Bystrica provides a large selection of stores to choose from.

    In the summer you have opportunity take chair lift every hour to the mountain for beautiful view of mountain Magura.
